AKSI PREVENTIF (PENYULUHAN TRAUMA TUMPUL DAN TAJAM) DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN KESADARAHAN PENANGANAN LUKA DESA TANAH RATA, KEC. BANDA NEIRA, MALUKU TENGAH

Abstrak

Trauma, whether caused by blunt or sharp objects, poses significant health risks, particularly in rural areas with limited access to healthcare. This project was conducted in the village of Tanah Rata, Banda Neira, Central Maluku, to increase awareness and understanding of blunt and sharp trauma management. The program was used methods such as lectures, poster presentations, and demonstrated general practice. Participants were learned to differentiate between blunt and sharp trauma and received practical training on first aid procedures. The activity, attended by among 50 participants, resulted in a significant increase in the community's knowledge of trauma recognition and management, as evidenced by their active participation in discussions and simulations. This initiative highlighted the effectiveness of combining theoretical training with practical exercises to improve health literacy. It is expected that the outcomes of this programme will reduce the impact of physical injury and contribute to a safer and healthier environment in the village.
