Abstrak

Mi Sehat Cempaka is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) based in Ambon that develops innovative food products using sago as its main ingredient, such as sago noodles, sago cookies, and sago flour. This business not only focuses on providing healthy food alternatives but also highlights Maluku’s cultural identity through its thematic dining concept. This study aims to examine the potential and challenges faced by the business through direct observation at the site, without conducting interviews, and supported by visual documentation. The findings indicate that Mi Sehat Cempaka excels in product diversification and offers a unique dining atmosphere. However, it also faces several challenges, particularly in digital marketing strategies and the fluctuating quality of sago supply. These insights suggest that with improved digital promotion strategies, continuous product innovation, and the expansion of collaborative networks, Mi Sehat Cempaka has strong potential to grow and contribute to the preservation of local food resources. This study provides an initial overview of how local-based culinary MSMEs can support regional food security and sustainable economic development.
