Abstrak

The sales cycle is an important part of company operations because it is directly related to the process of recording and recognizing revenue. This research aims to analyze the application of accounting information systems in the sales cycle at PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Ambon Branch. The method used in this research is a direct interview with one of the employees involved in the sales process. Through this method, an overview of the system flow running within the company is obtained. The research results show that the company has written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which are used as guidelines in implementing sales activities. The SOP helps create a structured, consistent and clear work process so that errors can be minimized. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the accounting information system in the sales cycle at PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Ambon Branch has gone well and is able to support the smooth running of the company's sales activities. Apart from that, implementing an accounting information system also helps improve the effectiveness of the company's internal controls, especially in the process of recording transactions and preparing sales reports. With a structured system, companies can minimize information delays and support management decision making more precisely and accurately.
