PENINGKATAN KESADARAN HUKUM DAN LITERASI DIGITAL MASYARAKAT DI NEGERI KULUR, KECAMATAN SAPARUA, KABUPATEN MALUKU TENGAH

Abstrak

The social, economic, and legal aspects of society have been significantly impacted by advances in information and communication technology in the digital age. While technology has facilitated access to information and digital transactions, it has also created challenges such as AI-generated fake news, online fraud, fraudulent investment schemes, adolescent vulnerability to drug abuse, and the need to understand changes in the new Criminal Code. Through outreach efforts conducted in Negeri Kulur, this community service program aimed to improve computer literacy, legal awareness, and public understanding of drug abuse risks. The activities were carried out through educational materials, interactive discussions, and simplified case studies tailored to the local community, students, and high school students. The materials covered AI-based hoax videos, online scams, narcotics risks, and an overview of the new Criminal Code. The results showed improved participant understanding of the discussed topics, including recognizing fake news, increasing vigilance against online scams, understanding the impacts of drug addiction, and the importance of legal compliance. Overall, this initiative improved community literacy in addressing digital-age and legal challenges.
