One of the most popular marine resources, the pearl oyster, has economic value at both national and
international levels. Enlargement of pearl oyster farming is one of the maintenance activities to reach a certain size that will be harvested. The use of the longline system method is the rearing of pearl mussels using a long rope as a place to hang pearl spat from the beginning of rearing until they are ready to sell. The quality of pearls obtained from oysters is largely determined by the cultivation method used. The purpose of this activity is that students can know and understand about pearl oyster enlargement management using the longline cultivation method. The implementation of community service took place on February 29, 2024 and was located at State Senior High School 2 West Seram. The method used is interactive learning. The results obtained were that students got the highest score (60%) and the lowest score was (16%). This illustrates that not all students have the same knowledge. The final results obtained with the highest score (100%) and the lowest score is (92%). This shows that there is an increase in students' understanding and knowledge after the material has been given. The conclusion drawn from this activity is that it is very helpful for students to understand how to manage pearl mussel enlargement using the longline system method so that there is an increase in student knowledge and understanding after providing material
