PENGUATAN LITERASI PENDIDIKAN TINGGI MELALUI SOSIALISASI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN LUAR SEKOLAH KEPADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS MALUKU TENGAH

Abstrak
This community service program aimed to introduce the concept and practice of Andragogy (Adult Education) to teachers, staff, and 12th-grade students of SMA Negeri 26 Maluku Tengah as part of efforts to broaden awareness about the Non-formal Education (PLS) Study Program at Universitas Pattimura. The socialization was conducted using interactive methods covering andragogy concepts, adult learning principles, and the PLS study program profile. The activity involved teachers and students in Maluku Tengah, a region with limited access to non-formal education information. Through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations of andragogy-based learning strategies, participants gained a deeper understanding of lifelong learning concepts. Evaluation was conducted through question-and-answer sessions measuring comprehension levels. The program successfully increased participants’ understanding of adult education principles and opened their perspectives toward PLS as a relevant higher education option. This activity represents the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, specifically Community Service, by the PLS Study Program of FKIP Universitas Pattimura.1 point. The abstract should be clear, descriptive and should provide a brief overview of community service issues undertaken / researched. Abstracts include reasons for the selection of topics or the importance of research topics / community service, methods of research / devotion and outcome summary. The abstract should end with a comment about the importance of the result or a brief conclusion
